Plume Giant will be playing tonight at around 8pm at 37 Howe St.
This event is part of the Greater New Haven Folk Scene and will feature bunch of local musicians as well as local artists showing their art. There will also be some sort of crazy live painting that might involve paint on bodies.
This place is filling with attractive hipsters. You know you want to go.
You can go over any time because the event officially started at 3pm. Adam, who's hosting dancing in his backyard next door (alcohol is allowed there but not on the premises), said Plume Giant will probably go on around 8pm, but you might want to get their early for the contra dancing.
The event is trying to raise money for a non-profit, the Star Island Corporation, (some island off the NH coast that hosts educational conferences) so donations, which are to be given on a "fun scale" will go to SIC (haha, no Star Island) after costs are covered. 10$ will get you a plate of Miya's Sushi. Yum.
